Junior Accountant

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent. Position Overview: - We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with strong skills in MIS reporting and Microsoft Excel to support our finance team. - The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day accounting operations, prepare management reports, and analyze financial data to support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and books of accounts. - Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and periodic financial summaries. - Use advanced Excel functionsfor data analysis and reporting. - Support month-end and year-end closing processes. - Assist with accounts payable and receivable reconciliation. - Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets. - Help in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. - Coordinate with internal departments to gather financial data. - Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation. Requirements: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in accounting or finance. - Candidates living in Gwarimpa and its environsare preferred for this role. Skills: - Strong knowledge of MIS reporting - Excellent command of Microsoft Excel (mandatory). - Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements. - Familiarity with accounting software is a plus. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Salary N80,000 - N100,000 monthly.
