JD MEPSS Principal Security Lead at Fortis Engineering Services

About the Role

Fortis Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Principal Security Lead to support security management across major engineering projects. This role involves developing comprehensive security strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing the implementation of security measures across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop security mitigation plans to manage project security risks to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP)
• Deliver security input in cross-discipline integration workshops and functions
• Provide all security deliverables required per Opportunity Realization Standards (ORS) Decision Gates 1-4
• Apply security technology and industry solutions to enhance project security and reduce operating costs
• Participate actively in all pre-DG4 project cadence meetings and support project package leads in managing security risks
• Ensure compliance with Group Security Standards and the Group SEAM Framework
• Support documentation and seamless transfer of security deliverables from pre-DG3 to execution stage
• Provide direct oversight of assurance on the effectiveness of company and contractor security plans
• Monitor functionality and effectiveness of all physical security measures and barriers at project sites
• Engage daily with Security Coordinator and Intelligence teams to gather and share timely intelligence on security threats and associated risks
• Interface with FPSO operations and Security Operations Centre to maintain common operating picture across all operations
• Participate in daily integrated logistics planning to ensure secure delivery of project-specific movements
• Collaborate with Project Site Security Coordinator to ensure availability and adequacy of security assets and vessels at worksites
• Coordinate with project security teams on emergency response procedures
• Conduct Security Level of Detail (LOD1) assurance on all project activities and movements
• Drive consistent implementation of security protocols across all project operations
