IT Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Position Overview: - We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. - The ideal candidate will troubleshoot problems, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth daily operations of company technology infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, and in-person - Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues - Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices - Set up and manage user accounts and permissions - Support Microsoft 365, email systems, and collaboration tools - Maintain IT documentation and service logs - Assist with system upgrades and deployments - Monitor system performance and escalate complex issues when necessary - Ensure data security and compliance with IT policies - Train staff on basic IT usage and best practices. Requirements: Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields with proven experience in IT support or helpdesk role (1–3 years preferred). Skills: - Windows and/or macOS operating systems - Microsoft 365 / Office applications - Basic networking - Active Directory - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
