IT Support Officer (Intern) at GN128 Solutions

About the Role

GN128 Solutions is recruiting an IT Support Officer (Intern) to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with foundational IT knowledge who is eager to develop their technical skills and contribute to our IT support operations.

What We're Looking For

We seek a candidate with theoretical knowledge of IT hardware, computer networking, and Windows operating systems. You should demonstrate a genuine desire to learn and develop your IT skills, coupled with strong communication abilities and excellent problem-solving capabilities.

Core Responsibilities

• Install and configure computer operating systems and applications
• Configure internet routers and connect laptops to LAN
• Test applications to ensure they function as required
• Monitor and maintain computer systems
• Provide technical assistance to project teams
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair IT hardware issues and network problems
• Repair and replace hardware equipment where necessary
• Respond promptly to service issues and requests
• Complete reporting and administrative duties

Minimum Requirements

• HND or OND in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 6 months professional experience
• Experience in desktop or technical support
• Knowledge of hardware maintenance and networking
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must live within 30 minutes commuting distance of Ikeja
