IT Support Officer at Elalan Construction

About the Role

An established company is recruiting for an IT Support Officer to provide comprehensive technical support across all IT infrastructure, hardware, and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support for all IT infrastructure hardware and applications, including configuration, upgrades, and maintenance
• Test and implement software patches for all applications, including third-party applications
• Maintain comprehensive and updated documentation of all ICT systems and assets infrastructure used by the Group
• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues encountered by users
• Respond to and resolve help desk routine tickets

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc or HND in Computer Science or Engineering
• Minimum of 3–5 years' post-qualification experience
• Experience with complex databases

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Microsoft, Networking, Cloud Computing, or Security Systems

Technical Competencies

• Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), mainframe networks, computer workstations, Internet connections, and peripheral equipment
• Ability to evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software, operating system software, and software applications
• Experience repairing equipment, replacing parts, and checking computer equipment for electrical safety
• In-depth technical knowledge of PC hardware
• Ability to identify ways to constantly improve operational efficiency
• Ability to learn new skills quickly
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of recent trends within the IT profession
