IT Specialist at VIP Express Tourism Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on IT Specialist to support our organisation's technology systems, ensure smooth daily operations, and provide timely technical assistance to staff. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to staff across all departments (hardware, software, network, and systems)
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and IT equipment
• Monitor and maintain network systems, internet connectivity, and server performance
• Ensure data security, system backups, and adherence to IT policies
• Troubleshoot system and network problems; diagnose and resolve hardware faults
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations
• Support the rollout of new applications, systems upgrades, and IT projects
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure timely maintenance or replacement
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers when necessary
• Document technical issues and resolutions, and provide regular IT reports

Requirements

• OND/HND/BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 2–4 years proven experience in IT support or IT administration
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, network, and operating systems
• Experience with Windows OS, networking (LAN/WAN), routers, switches, and basic server administration
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Professional certification (an added advantage)
