Position Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Specialist to support our organisation's technology systems, ensure smooth daily operations, and provide timely technical assistance to staff. The ideal candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve IT issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to staff across all departments (hardware, software, network, and systems)
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and IT equipment
• Monitor and maintain network systems, internet connectivity, and server performance
• Ensure data security, system backups, and adherence to IT policies
• Troubleshoot system and network problems; diagnose and resolve hardware faults
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations
• Support the rollout of new applications, systems upgrades, and IT projects
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and ensure timely maintenance or replacement
• Liaise with external vendors and service providers when necessary
• Document technical issues and resolutions, and provide regular IT reports

Requirements

• OND/HND/BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2–4 years of proven experience in IT support or IT administration
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, network, and operating systems
• Experience with Windows OS, networking (LAN/WAN), routers, switches, and basic server administration
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data protection
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
• Professional certification (added advantage)
