## Title: IT Operations Supervisor
Position Overview
This position offers a great opportunity for career growth within IT Operations at our Lagos headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
IT Helpdesk & Incident Management
- Supervise and manage the local IT Helpdesk Team located at the main branches
- Ensure all user IT-related needs and requests are met promptly through ticket management procedures
- Assist in incident response to restore service to users when interrupted, as part of the incident management procedure
Projects & Infrastructure
- Coordinate IT applications, infrastructure projects, and process control projects, upgrades, implementations, and requests
- Build, maintain, and regularly update the company's hardware and software inventory as part of Asset Management
- Write procedures and technical documentation for completed projects
Vendor & Budget Management
- Work with local IT and outside vendors in selecting IT services and solutions
- Negotiate contracts and proposals, and evaluate vendor performance
- Convey IT requirements and budget to the facility, and communicate facility requirements and budget to IT corporate
User Access & Network Management
- Facilitate and maintain User Access Management for all Nigeria branches
- Assess internet service performance and resolve connectivity issues
- Develop alternative and backup solutions, and make recommendations and upgrades to management when needed
Training & Development
- Participate in the development of training materials
- Supervise the training of user department personnel in mobile solutions, collaboration tools, ERP systems, and business solution applications
Team Leadership
- Enhance team effort by encouraging teamwork and positive working relationships among team members
- Deliver regular team communications and organize periodical team meetings
- Evaluate IT team performance
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Assist in maintaining compliance with corporate IT standards, practices, and direction
- Constantly seek ways to improve data monitoring and deliver better value to employees
