## Title: Inventory Supervisor
Position Overview
FitLife Café, a reputable organization, seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Supervisor to oversee stock management, minimize waste, and ensure smooth kitchen operations that support our growing demand.
Location
Victoria Island, Lagos (Oriental Hotel, Skyfit Gym)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily inventory operations for food, beverages, and packaging materials
- Maintain accurate stock records using digital inventory systems or spreadsheets
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical counts with system records
- Monitor product usage, shelf life, and expiration dates to reduce waste
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate order quantities
- Track incoming and outgoing stock and prepare weekly inventory reports
- Work closely with the kitchen and purchasing teams to forecast needs based on sales trends
- Implement and enforce best practices for storage, labeling, and hygiene standards
- Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
Required Qualifications
- ND/HND/BSc in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, preferably in a café, restaurant, or retail setting
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or inventory management software
- High attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, honest, and proactive in problem-solving
Performance Indicators
- Accurate daily and weekly stock reports
- Reduction in stock discrepancies and wastage
- On-time replenishment of critical stock items
- Improved cost control and accountability
- Consistent stock availability with minimal shortages
Compensation & Benefits
- ₦80,000 monthly salary
- ₦10,000 feeding allowance
- HMO health coverage after 6 months of employment
