## Title: Inventory & Store Officer

Position Overview

Location & Employment Details

Location: Ota, Ogun

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive materials from suppliers and enter data into appropriate documentation (GRN & Stock Cards)
  • Record all stock items issued to other departments/sections with proper approval
  • Sort and place inventory in storage areas, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence (size, type, product code)
  • Fill requisitions for materials and assist in stock taking activities
  • Supply marketers with goods and maintain proper inventory records
  • Keep records of materials or items received or distributed in accordance with established procedures
  • Generate requisitions for all stock items while maintaining stock and reorder levels at all times
  • Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) rule is applied consistently
  • Maintain daily/weekly cycle counts of all stock items and submit stock level reports to the manager
  • Inspect materials received for quantity, quality, condition, and specifications
  • Ensure monthly stock taking is completed with stock/value reports submitted to management by the 1st of each month
  • Post all received and issued items into the system
  • Ensure all completed orders are properly tagged when delivered to packing/shipping station
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • OND in Accounting, Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, or any Social Science Discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in FMCG and/or Food manufacturing industry

Required Competencies

  • Knowledge of Peachtree Accounting (strong advantage; training provided)
  • General computer usage knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
