Inventory Officer at Prime Pharmacy

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Inventory Officer to join our team at Prime Pharmacy in Lagos, Nigeria. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of inventory operations, including procurement, storage, distribution, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare purchase orders and obtain supplier quotes for inventory needs
• Receive, store, and issue goods while managing stock levels
• Maintain accurate stock records using computerized systems
• Verify supply invoices against purchase orders
• Prepare reports on inventory adjustments, including damaged or spoiled items
• Coordinate purchasing, inventory, and warehousing functions
• Identify surplus and obsolete stock for removal
• Maintain complete records of all receipts and issuances from the warehouse
• Reconcile physical stock with system records to ensure accuracy
• Organize goods in the stock location system for easy storage and retrieval
• Ensure physical protection and proper arrangement of stock in the warehouse
• Conduct regular stock-taking and confirm periodic inventory with designated staff
• Supervise offloading processes and arrangement of merchandise, materials, and consignments
• Ensure correct and timely inventory valuation
• Direct and manage procedures related to offloading, packing, and unpacking

Required Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management or warehouse operations
• Proficiency with computerized inventory management systems
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to supervise and coordinate with team members
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record maintenance
