Position Overview:
- The Inventory Officer is responsible for managing and controlling stock levels, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supporting efficient warehouse operations.
- The role involves monitoring stock movement, conducting stock counts, and coordinating with procurement and operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions (receipts, issues, transfers, and returns).
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment when necessary.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Track slow-moving and obsolete stock.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
