Inventory / Logistics Officer at PG Consulting Limited

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join PG Consulting Limited as an Inventory and Logistics Officer in our Lagos operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound inventory of materials and products in the warehouse
• Coordinate receiving of stocks from shipment in accordance with company SOP regulations
• Develop efficiency plans to improve quality and time management in product supply to customers
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on additive inventory movement, including batch details and shelf life tracking
• Ensure accurate documentation of samples for every batch
• Maintain accuracy throughout the order process from placement to customer delivery
• Manage, maintain, and ensure safety of inventory stocks in the warehouse
• Implement proper safety measures and adhere to SOP regulations in handling additive products
• Minimize product damage and maintain product integrity of drum containers
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures and process efficiency
• Supervise loaders and forklift operators to ensure compliance with loading, transfer, and storage plans
• Coordinate all loading and offloading operations of additives
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Record all stock transactions in the ERP system
• Organize warehouse inventory using FEFO (First Expiry First Out) methodology
• Manage forklift maintenance schedules, servicing, and repairs; report to Line Manager
• Maintain office and office equipment in good working condition
• Prepare and submit goods clearance reports every two weeks
• Flag products with near expiry dates and conduct product aging analysis
• Report slow-moving and obsolete stocks on a monthly basis
• Report all damaged or non-conformity packaged products

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.Sc Degree or HND in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
