Internal Auditor (Senior Level)

About the Role

Clinix Healthcare is seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to establish and manage its internal control and audit functions. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal control policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular internal audits of departments and processes
• Monitor internal compliance with statutory regulations
• Identify internal control gaps and recommend remedial actions
• Investigate anomalies and ensure timely resolution of identified issues
• Ensure proper documentation and safeguarding of company assets
• Prepare internal control reports with findings and recommendations for management
• Support external auditors and regulatory examiners during inspections
• Collaborate with the accounts and finance department on transaction handling
• Monitor and enforce compliance with internal control requirements and operational processes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting or related field from a reputable institution
• ACA or ACCA certification (mandatory)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal control, audit, or compliance
• Strong managerial and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Desirable Qualifications

• Internal control or audit certifications
• MBA qualification
