Internal Auditor at Everyday Foods Group

About the Role

Everyday Foods Group seeks a dedicated Internal Auditor to conduct comprehensive audits across all business units and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic audits across all business units (retail, warehouse, FMCG, QSR, etc.)
• Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies
• Investigate discrepancies, irregularities, and process inefficiencies
• Monitor inventory controls and report on stock variances or losses
• Review cash, sales, and expense records for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure all financial and operational procedures comply with regulatory standards
• Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations in clear reports
• Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations
• Identify risks and provide suggestions for risk mitigation
• Support special investigations or spot checks as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting
• 1 – 2 years of audit or internal control experience (preferably in retail/FMCG environments)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and integrity
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong communication and report-writing skills

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of accounting or audit software
