Internal Auditor

This vacancy presents a chance to join a leading organization. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct periodic audits across all business units (retail, warehouse, FMCG, QSR, etc.) - Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies. - Investigate discrepancies, irregularities, and process inefficiencies. - Monitor inventory controls and report on stock variances or losses. - Review cash, sales, and expense records for accuracy and completeness. - Ensure all financial and operational procedures comply with regulatory standards. - Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations in clear reports. - Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations. - Identify risks and provide suggestions for risk mitigation. - Support special investigations or spot checks as assigned Requirements: - Degree in Accounting - 1 - 2 years of audit or internal control experience (preferably in retail/FMCG environments). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of accounting or audit software is a plus. - Excellent attention to detail and integrity. - Ability to work independently and in teams. - Strong communication and report-writing skills. - Resident in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State
