About the Internship
This internship program aims to provide work experience opportunities for recent graduates and university students in career transition. It serves as a platform to develop leadership competencies and promote the participation of women in decision-making roles within key development spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee household staff through training, task assignment, and supervision of domestic personnel
- Communicate office and resident changes to staff and relevant stakeholders, ensuring residents participate in decision-making regarding activities, lifestyle, and home matters
- Manage household purchases and support personal errands, including shopping for food, supplies, and requested items upon supervisor approval
- Gather and analyze scientific data from eHealth Systems Africa data sources and external sources
- Perform data entry into inventory management and data management systems
- Communicate findings and facilitate knowledge dissemination and exchange among interested parties
- Produce written reports and white papers to document analysis results and share knowledge
- Accurately update data in both computer and manual recording systems
- Assign and monitor completion of daily chores and housekeeping duties
- Supervise cleaning staff to maintain cleanliness while ensuring a hospitable, safe, and pleasant living environment
Program Structure
The intern will initiate, assist with, report on, and monitor relevant initiatives. Regular meetings will be scheduled to facilitate knowledge exchange and collaborative learning.
