About the Internship
This internship offers a valuable opportunity for career growth and professional development. It also serves as a platform to develop leadership competencies and promote women's participation in decision-making roles in key development spaces.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will initiate, assist, report, monitor, and develop various initiatives while reconciling theoretical knowledge with practical processes. Specific responsibilities include:
- Support lead generation and forecasting of RFPs/RFAs through desk research utilizing available internal tools and processes
- Facilitate and coordinate bid proposal meetings, including review calls, design calls, and daily standup check-in calls, from bid identification to submission
- Promote collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence and compliance with bid development, tools, processes, procedures, and systems
- Assist in developing proposal templates aligned with donor and funding agency requirements
- Refine standard proposal contents to create boilerplates for multiple submissions
- Conduct desk research and draft presentations for targeted executive and programs external stakeholder engagements
- Lead accurate and timely updates of the New Business Development (NBD) contact database with details from strategic and consortium engagements
- Track and document proposal Level of Effort (LOE) analysis for active submissions
- Support NBD regular monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting
- Perform other assigned tasks as needed
