About the Position

We are seeking an artistic, detail-oriented interior designer with strong interpersonal skills to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients ranging from homeowners to corporations, bringing creative vision to life through thoughtful spatial design.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit job sites to analyze space availability, design needs, and purpose of the space
• Attend client meetings to understand design requirements and preferences regarding interior styles and colors
• Create initial design sketches, color themes, and ideas based on client requirements and available space
• Obtain client approval before developing CAD designs and detailed briefs for workers and supervisors
• Hire and coordinate contractors and vendors (carpenters, painters, plumbers, electricians, artists) to implement design concepts
• Oversee the procurement of all raw materials and items required for project completion
• Arrange client visits and maintain communication with all project stakeholders regarding progress
• Ensure project completion within allocated budget and timeline
• Visualize and sketch design plans according to client goals and specifications
• Source products and materials that align with design vision
• Determine project costs and inspect construction work to ensure compliance with design specifications

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to think creatively about space, color, and movement
• Strong visual and artistic sensibility with ability to draw inspiration from various artistic mediums
• Excellent communication skills with ability to persuade and present design concepts effectively
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, inspections, and building codes
• Proficiency in CAD design software
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work within budget constraints and manage timelines
