Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Intercontinental Cook with experience preparing a wide range of international dishes. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will occasionally incorporate or work alongside Nigerian cuisine as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook various intercontinental meals according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Ensure food is prepared and served with consistency and attractive presentation
• Assist in planning daily or weekly menus in coordination with the Head Chef
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper food storage at all times
• Monitor food inventory and assist in placing orders for ingredients as needed
• Support other kitchen staff in prep work and cooking during peak hours
• Follow health, safety, and food handling procedures
• Work collaboratively as part of a kitchen team and communicate effectively with staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 2–4 years' experience cooking intercontinental dishes in a hotel, restaurant, lounge, or catering environment
• Ability to cook and present international dishes consistently and attractively
• Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and handling practices
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Reliable, organized, and committed to quality service

Preferred Qualifications

• Culinary training or vocational certification
• Basic knowledge of Nigerian dishes
