Ingestion Officer

Position Overview: - We are looking for a highly organized and data-driven Ingestion Officer to manage the high-volume entry and reconciliation of operational data. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all records—from vendor logs to merchant transactions—are accurately captured, investigated for variances, and reported within our systems. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of our operational data and ensuring seamless reporting for management. Key Responsibilities: - Data Ingestion: Collect, analyze, and upload large sets of operational data into company systems with 100% accuracy. - Variance Analysis: Investigate data discrepancies and variances; summarize trends and provide insights to the Regional Manager. - Operational Reporting: Prepare daily ingestion reports and monthly statements by assembling and interpreting operational data. - System Reconciliation: Reconcile daily and monthly transaction logs to ensure system data matches physical/external records. - Dispute Resolution: Resolve all data-related disputes or flags identified during the ingestion process. - Compliance: Ensure all financial and operational records are kept in accordance with company policy and internal audit standards. Key Deliverables - Accurate Daily Ingestion Reports. - Weekly Data Integrity/Reconciliation Reports. - Monthly Operational Trend Analysis. Requirements: & Specifications - Education: SSCE/OND - Experience: 6months - 1 year experience in a data-heavy administrative or operational role. - Technical Skills: * Advanced Microsoft Excel Proficiency (Must be comfortable with VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Data Cleaning). - Strong analytical and numerical skills. - Age Bracket: 25 – 30 years. Key Competencies - Functional: High attention to detail; ability to spot errors in large datasets; strong understanding of data reporting principles. - Managerial: Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks to meet strict daily deadlines. - Behavioral: High stress tolerance for high-volume periods; self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
