Information Technology Officer

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Information Technology Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, providing technical support, network administration, and system administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, with expertise in computer systems, networks, and software applications. This role requires problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure.

Essential Job Functions

• Ensure delivery of consistent and agile processes across the team
• Assist in defining and maintaining the IT technology strategy and infrastructure plan
• Review and apply best practices to establish architecture and frameworks consistent with and supportive of the product strategy
• Identify and recommend technology trends that will support the future success of the business
• Manage all existing websites and keep them up to date
• Implement mechanisms to monitor, manage, and provide progress reports on all software development activities
• Research the external environment and identify and recommend external partners for the delivery of best-in-class technologies suitable for the Group's applications
• Communicate project lifecycles effectively to all stakeholders
• Work effectively with Project Managers and Product Owners to ensure delivery against agreed priorities
• Collaborate with appropriate functions and users to evaluate and identify technology platforms for delivering the company's products and internal services
• Work with developers to design algorithms and flowcharts
• Ensure on-time and to-specification delivery of software development projects
• Work closely with the Head of IT to meet current and future user needs
• Understand use cases and user stories to oversee the design of project architecture
