## Title: IGCSE Certified English Teacher

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of IGCSE Certified English Teacher. You will be responsible for teaching English language and literature aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, preparing students for international examinations through engaging and structured instruction.

As an IGCSE English Teacher, you will design and deliver lessons that meet the standards of the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). You will foster critical thinking, analytical skills, and language proficiency in students while maintaining a productive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans based on the IGCSE curriculum
  • Deliver engaging instruction in English language and literature
  • Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and projects
  • Prepare students for IGCSE examinations with targeted revision
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning atmosphere
  • Provide academic support and mentorship outside regular hours
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings
  • Stay updated with educational best practices and integrate them into teaching

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in English, Education, or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification or IGCSE-specific qualification
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a Cambridge International School or similar setting
  • Proven success in preparing students for IGCSE English exams
  • Experience with diverse learning styles and inclusive education practices
