## Title: IGCSE Biology Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IGCSE Biology Teacher to deliver the Cambridge International curriculum to secondary school students. In this role, you will create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and foster a learning environment that promotes critical thinking and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach IGCSE Biology in alignment with Cambridge International standards
  • Design and implement structured lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Prepare students for internal and external assessments, including mock exams and IGCSE examinations
  • Maintain discipline and create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential
  • Participate in training, workshops, and school events to stay updated with educational best practices
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student learning and school goals

Essential Skills

  • Strong subject mastery of IGCSE Biology content
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to diverse student needs
  • Skilled in designing and grading assessments aligned with IGCSE standards
  • Effective classroom management strategies for maintaining student engagement and discipline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with digital tools for teaching, assessment, and communication

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Education, or a related field (minimum qualification)
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)
  • Cambridge IGCSE training or certification (preferred)
