Job Overview

We are seeking reliable, qualified, and experienced tutors to provide remote academic support for three children living in the United Kingdom. Tutors may apply based on their academic background and teaching experience in Igbo Language.

Student Levels

• Year 10 (SS1 equivalent)
• Year 8 (JSS2 equivalent)
• Year 6 (Primary 6 equivalent)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver well-structured, engaging, and age-appropriate online lessons tailored to each child's level
• Prepare weekly academic lesson plans for each child
• Provide assignments, practice questions, and periodic assessments
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to parents
• Maintain consistent communication and punctuality
• Use digital tools to enhance learning effectively and efficiently
• Ensure an active and strong internet connection during all lessons

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Igbo Language or a related field
• Demonstrated teaching experience in Igbo Language
• Ability to teach remotely using Zoom, Google Meet, and similar platforms
• Excellent and consistent communication skills with a strong command of English
• Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods for different age groups
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate safeguarding at all times
• Access to a laptop or desktop with a webcam and reliable internet connection

Schedule and Availability

Tutoring schedules will be fixed based on each child's timetable and availability. All sessions will be conducted according to UK time.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience, subject area, and weekly teaching hours.
