Position Overview

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. You will deliver engaging and interactive IELTS lessons to students preparing for both Academic and General Training examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive IELTS lessons (Academic and General Training)
• Guide students to improve in all four modules — Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking
• Track student progress, administer mock tests, and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with the academic team to enhance course content and strategy
• Uphold the Academy's standard of quality and professionalism in all classes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of proven IELTS tutoring experience (TOEFL/PTE experience is a plus)
• Excellent command of English grammar, pronunciation, and fluency
• Strong communication, organizational, and motivational skills
• Ability to manage online classes effectively
• Stable internet connection and a conducive teaching environment
• IELTS certification or verified track record of producing high-scoring students (preferred)

Class Schedule

• Time: 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Weekdays)
• Platform: Online (Google Meet/Telegram/Zoom)
• Start Date: 1st November 2025

Probation & Performance Requirements

Probation Period: 3 months (fully paid)

Performance Goal: During the probation period, tutors must ensure that at least 80% of students coached achieve a minimum overall IELTS band score of 7.5, with strong performance across all modules.

Tutors who meet or exceed this target will be considered for permanent placement and salary review.

Compensation & Benefits

• ₦30,000 monthly during probation period
• ₦100,000 monthly after confirmation
