Responsibilties - Curriculum & Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging ICT/Computer Science lessons aligned with educational standards, incorporating diverse teaching strategies. - Classroom Instruction: Teach theory and practical applications, using interactive methods, differentiating for various learning needs (including SEN/gifted students). - Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student work, provide constructive feedback, track progress, and complete reports for parents. - Technology Management: Oversee, maintain, and recommend improvements for classroom hardware (computers, peripherals) and software. - Student Support: Build strong relationships, manage behavior, offer pastoral care, and guide students in ICT-related interests and careers. - Professional Development: Stay current with technology trends and pedagogical best practices, collaborating with colleagues. - School Duties: Supervise students, attend parent-teacher meetings, and contribute to school development. Essential Skills & Qualifications - Relevant Degree and teaching certification. - Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and programming. - Excellent communication, classroom management, and motivational skills. - Ability to adapt to a diverse student body and evolving technology.
