ICT / Network Configuration Specialist

About the Role

Ujax Engineering is seeking an experienced ICT/Network Configuration Specialist to handle the setup, programming, and configuration of ELV and smart building devices. This role focuses on ensuring systems work properly after installation, configuring devices, integrating systems, testing functionality, and providing technical support. You'll work closely with the installation team to ensure all ELV systems are stable, secure, and ready for handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and program ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm panels, and public address systems
• Set up IP devices, NVRs, controllers, and smart building gateways
• Configure network settings for ELV devices (IP addressing, ports, PoE)
• Integrate systems to work together where required
• Test systems thoroughly and resolve configuration-related issues
• Provide technical support during commissioning and handover
• Troubleshoot software, firmware, and connectivity issues
• Maintain configuration records and system settings
• Support system upgrades, resets, and reconfigurations

Requirements

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in ICT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or related field
• Strong hands-on experience configuring ELV or IP-based systems
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals and IP devices
• Familiarity with CCTV brands, access control software, and ELV platforms
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues logically
• Good communication skills for working with installers and clients
• Experience in hospitality or smart building projects is an advantage
