Human Resource Officer at Skipper Eye-Q Hospital

About the Role

We are recruiting an HR Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), strategic thinking, and a comprehensive understanding of employment legislation and labor processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare job descriptions, advertise vacant positions, and manage the recruitment and employment process
• Conduct employee orientation and coordinate training programs for existing staff
• Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure employees are organized, supported, and satisfied in their work environment
• Oversee health and safety compliance for all employees
• Implement and manage systematic staff development procedures
• Provide counseling and guidance on organizational policies and procedures
• Oversee payroll and benefits administration with meticulous attention to detail
• Communicate with staff regarding performance-related matters and concerns
• Maintain accurate and organized employee records in both electronic and digital formats

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in human resources
• Knowledge of employment legislation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
• Ability to engage in meaningful negotiation and conflict resolution

Advantageous Qualifications

• Additional training or certification in Payroll Management
• CIPM (Chartered Institute of Personnel Management) certification
• Experience as a Skills Development Facilitator
