About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual to serve as an HSE Officer, responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies in accordance with legal and corporate guidelines
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop preventative strategies
• Organize and deliver safety training for employees to ensure awareness and understanding of safety and environmental practices and legislation
• Monitor compliance with policies, perform site inspections, and prepare detailed reports on findings
• Lead emergency response initiatives and conduct investigations after incidents to establish causes and implement preventive measures
• Advise on specialist areas including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise management, occupational diseases, and waste management
• Maintain current knowledge of legislation and regulatory requirements related to health, safety, and environmental matters that impact the organization
• Collaborate with internal leadership and external regulatory bodies to maintain compliance standards
• Perform other assigned tasks as required
