## Title: HSE Officer

About the Role

Eko Maintenance Limited is seeking a qualified HSE Officer to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates to help us maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and implement comprehensive safety programs
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work sites
  • Implement and maintain health and safety standards across all operations
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and legal requirements
  • Identify hazardous waste and ensure proper disposal procedures
  • Conduct regular toolbox meetings to share best practice techniques with staff
  • Monitor technicians and ensure correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Establish cordial and professional relationships with employees
  • Standardize health and safety practices to ensure consistency
  • Compile and maintain relevant safety registers and documentation
  • Document staff information, meeting minutes, and reports for management review
  • Practice and promote safe working techniques across all teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Certification in HSE, ISO, and NEBOSH (preferred)
