Housekeeping Supervisor at Carlson Hotel

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Carlson Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria. In this position, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, manage staff performance, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign housekeeping tasks to staff and inspect work to ensure prescribed cleanliness standards are met
• Schedule staff shifts and organize replacements as required
• Investigate and address complaints regarding poor housekeeping service
• Provide training and development to housekeeping staff
• Conduct regular inventory of cleaning supplies and order stock as needed
• Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff
• Screen housekeeping applicants and recommend promotions, transfers, and dismissals
• Perform various cleaning duties during instances of staff shortages

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in housekeeping or hospitality management
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in housekeeping operations

Compensation

Monthly salary: ₦70,000
