Position Overview: - We are seeking a responsible, highly organised, and proactive House Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a private home. - This role requires strong leadership, discretion, and the ability to manage people, schedules, and household systems efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily household operations and ensure the home runs smoothly - Supervise domestic staff, including cleaners, cooks, drivers, and other household personnel - Create and manage staff schedules, duties, and performance standards - Maintain high standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation at all times - Manage household inventory, supplies, and basic procurement - Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and service providers - Handle household budgets, petty cash, and expense tracking where required - Act as a point of communication between the household and external vendors - Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion at all times Requirements: - BSc degree or equivalent qualification - Proven experience in household management, facility management, hospitality, or a similar role - Strong organisational and leadership skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask, prioritise, and solve problems calmly - High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail - Basic financial and record-keeping skills - Physically present, hands-on, and dependable.
