## Title: Hotel Housekeeper

Position Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Hotel Housekeeper. We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented professionals to maintain our hotel to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Reports To

Housekeeping Manager

Primary Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas
  • Replace used amenities and provide clean linens and towels
  • Fold towels, make beds, and ensure bathrooms are thoroughly clean
  • Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items promptly
  • Load housekeeping carts with supplies and transport to assigned areas
  • Enter guest rooms following proper procedures and verify they are vacant
  • Perform checks on all room appliances to ensure proper working condition
  • Adjust furniture, desk items, and appliances as necessary
  • Dust furnishings and walls, removing marks and stains
  • Perform floor care duties in hallways and guest rooms, including carpet vacuuming
  • Respond immediately to guest requests and requests from other departments

Guest Service Standards

  • Greet guests professionally and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards
  • Anticipate guest service needs and provide assistance proactively
  • Express genuine appreciation and thank guests for their visit
  • Communicate professionally with guests and colleagues
  • Address guest requests promptly and courteously

Safety and Compliance

  • Adhere to all safety, security, and company procedures and policies
  • Report any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problems, or accidents immediately to the housekeeping supervisor
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
  • Keep uniform clean and presentable
  • Complete required paperwork accurately
  • Communicate any issues to the next shift

Team Collaboration

  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
  • Listen and respond appropriately to feedback and communication from team members
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support overall hotel operations
