## Title: Hotel Account Officer

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Hotel Account Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Control payroll operations
  • Produce accurate month-end accounts with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods
  • Prepare profit and loss accounts and balance sheets for senior management
  • Assist in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected room revenue
  • Reconcile bank statements
  • Ensure compliance with VAT and PAYE legislation
  • Chase late payments, report bad debts, and monitor cash flow

Requirements

  • Relevant accounting qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
