Hospital Janitor

A top employer is now accepting applications for this role. Position Overview: - We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Janitor to join our cleaning team. As a surgical facility, we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness to ensure patient safety and infection control. Key Responsibilities: - Sanitization: Clean and disinfect patient rooms, operating theaters, waiting areas, and restrooms according to hospital protocols. - Waste Management: Safely collect and dispose of general waste and medical biohazards. - Floor Care: Sweep, mop, scrub, and polish floors using industrial cleaning equipment. - Restocking: Ensure all soap, hand sanitizer, and paper towel dispensers are filled at all times. - Safety: Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately. Requirements: - Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (SSCE). - Experience: Previous experience in hospital cleaning or industrial janitorial work is a strong advantage. - Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning agents and safety protocols (COSHH). - Attributes: Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a respectful attitude toward patients and staff. - Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work shifts, including weekends or nights if required.
