Required Skills and Qualifications - Education: A bachelor's degree in Home Economics, Family and Consumer Sciences, or Education, often requiring state certification/licensure. - Knowledge: Expertise in nutrition, culinary arts, fashion/textiles, and consumer sciences. - Communication: Strong interpersonal and instructional skills to engage students effectively. - Safety Consciousness: Ability to manage a classroom with specialized equipment, ensuring high safety standards.
