History/Igbo/CRS Teacher at Catoky International Group of Schools

About the Position

Catoky International Group of Schools is seeking a dedicated teacher to deliver History, Christian Religious Studies (CRS), and Igbo Language instruction to secondary school students in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach History, Christian Religious Studies, and Igbo Language to secondary school students
• Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, notes, and assessments aligned with the school curriculum
• Create and foster an engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning and discipline
• Evaluate and record student progress, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement
• Participate in school programs, meetings, and extracurricular activities

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant field
• Proficiency and demonstrated experience in teaching History, Christian Religious Studies, and Igbo Language
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Genuine passion for teaching and mentoring young minds
• Previous teaching experience in a recognized school (advantageous)
