Heavy Earth Moving Machine (HEMM) - Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Position Overview: - The Heavy Earth Moving Machine Mechanic will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of heavy construction and mining equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and minimal downtime. Equipment to Handled: - Excavators - Bulldozers - Wheel Loaders - Motor Graders - Dump Trucks / Tippers - Crawler Cranes and other heavy-duty machinery Required Qualifications: & Skills - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, SSCE, Trade Tests 1,2,3, or equivalent technical qualification - Proven experience as a heavy equipments or earth moving machine mechanic - Strong knowledge of diesel and CNG engines, hydraulic systems, and powertrain systems - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and schematics - Proficiency in the use of diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Good understanding of workplace safety procedures and proper PPE usage - Safety & Physical Requirements - Ability to work in physically demanding environments - Strict adherence to safety standards and procedures. Experience: - Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in the same role - Prior experience working in an automobile or heavy equipment company is an added advantage
