Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Location: Chevron, Lagos About the Role - We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Healthcare Assistant to support the pharmacist in daily pharmacy operations. The role involves assisting with prescription preparation, inventory management, record keeping, and ensuring a clean, well-organised pharmacy environment. Key Responsibilities: - Support the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately - Receive, shelve, rotate, and routinely count medications and supplies to ensure proper inventory control and expiry management - Maintain accurate daily sales records and support basic operational expense tracking with appropriate approvals - Respond to customer enquiries and telephone calls, providing general information or directing calls as needed - Ensure the pharmacy environment, shelves, and work areas are clean, organised, and compliant with operational standards Requirements: - Interested candidates should possess a Certificate or Degree in a Science-related field with 1 year experience. - CHEW certification is required - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team - Prior experience in a pharmacy or pharmaceutical setting is an advantage. Salary N150,000 - N180,000 / Month.
