## Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Officer
Job Summary
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Health, Safety and Environmental Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Compile and implement safety programs
- Regularly inspect equipment and work sites
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards across all operations
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings to share best practice techniques with staff
- Standardize health and safety procedures to maintain consistency
- Identify hazardous waste and ensure correct disposal methods
- Compile and maintain relevant registers and documentation to ensure compliance
- Document staff information, meeting minutes, and reports for management review
- Ensure technicians are wearing correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Monitor technician performance and adherence to safety protocols
- Establish cordial and professional relationships with employees
- Practice and promote safe working techniques throughout the organization
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification
- 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience
- Certification in HSE, ISO, and NEBOSH (preferred)
