## Title: Health, Safety and Environmental Officer

Job Summary

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Health, Safety and Environmental Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and implement safety programs
  • Regularly inspect equipment and work sites
  • Implement and maintain health and safety standards across all operations
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
  • Conduct regular toolbox meetings to share best practice techniques with staff
  • Standardize health and safety procedures to maintain consistency
  • Identify hazardous waste and ensure correct disposal methods
  • Compile and maintain relevant registers and documentation to ensure compliance
  • Document staff information, meeting minutes, and reports for management review
  • Ensure technicians are wearing correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Monitor technician performance and adherence to safety protocols
  • Establish cordial and professional relationships with employees
  • Practice and promote safe working techniques throughout the organization

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Certification in HSE, ISO, and NEBOSH (preferred)
