Health, Safety, and Environment Intern at Reime West Africa Limited

Job Summary

This is an entry-level internship position designed to provide practical exposure to health, safety, and environmental management in telecommunication operations. You will support the HSE team in implementing company safety standards, conducting inspections, reporting unsafe conditions, and assisting with incident investigations and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards
• Monitor and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by workers
• Support the conducting of toolbox talks and safety inductions for site personnel
• Assist with incident reporting, investigation, and documentation
• Maintain HSE records and registers; prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Support environmental management activities such as waste segregation and spill prevention
• Help promote a positive safety culture across all project sites

Qualifications and Experience

• OND, HND, or B.Sc in a related discipline
• 0–1 year of relevant experience (industrial training or internship experience is an advantage)
• No extensive prior experience required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential
