Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review HSE and Security policies, procedures, and standards in line with local and international regulations
- Provide strong HSE leadership to promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization
- Conduct HSE risk assessments, hazard identification, and implement effective risk mitigation measures
- Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions implemented
- Oversee security management systems to safeguard personnel, assets, and facilities
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and preparedness activities
- Monitor, analyze, and report HSE performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure environmental protection and sustainability practices that minimize operational impact
- Plan and deliver HSE training and awareness programs for employees and contractors
- Conduct site inspections, audits, regulatory reporting, and collaborate with operations and other departments to integrate HSE into all activities
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Security Management, or a related field
- Master's degree or professional certifications (NEBOSH, ISO 14001, or similar) is advantageous
