Head of Operations

A leading microfinance bank in Enugu State is seeking a vibrant, innovative, and technology-savvy Head of Operations to join its leadership team. The ideal candidate will be business-oriented, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and will bring fresh ideas to upgrade and transform operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Provide strategic leadership and oversight of daily banking operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards. - Drive innovation by introducing technology-driven solutions to streamline processes and enhance customer experience. - Oversee branch operations, loan processing, customer service, and back-office functions. - Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance standards. - Lead and mentor operational staff to achieve excellence and accountability. - Collaborate with senior management to align operations with business growth strategies. - Ensure effective risk management, internal controls, and compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines. - Monitor operational performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive management. Required Qualifications: & Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification is an advantage). - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within microfinance, commercial banking, or financial services. - Proven track record of introducing innovative operational solutions and leveraging technology to improve efficiency. - Strong business acumen with experience in financial management, risk control, and customer service. - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results under pressure. - Knowledge of CBN regulations and microfinance banking operations.
