Job description

We are seeking a strategic, creative, and data-driven Head of NM TV to lead the vision, growth, and performance of our Youtube platform. Key Responsibilities: - Own the overall strategy, direction, and growth of NM TV across YouTube. - Define content pillars, formats, publishing cadence, and storytelling approaches aligned with Nairametrics’ editorial mission. - Use platform analytics to drive audience growth, engagement, retention, and watch time. - Set clear KPIs for NM TV and report performance to senior management. - Collaborate closely with editorial, research, and digital media teams to translate news, data, and insights into compelling video content. - Oversee content planning to ensure relevance, accuracy, and brand consistency. - Lead and manage the NM TV team, including producers, presenters/hosts, cinematographers/editors, and production staff. - Drive revenue opportunities through sponsorships, branded content, partnerships, and platform monetization. - Work with business development teams to align video offerings with revenue goals. - Represent NM TV in discussions with external partners, guests, and collaborators. - Monitor trends in digital video, YouTube, and media consumption. - Introduce innovative formats and storytelling approaches to keep NM TV competitive and relevant. Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, Film, or a related field. - 5+ years’ experience in digital media, video production, or content leadership roles. - Proven experience managing or growing a YouTube or digital video platform. - Strong understanding of YouTube analytics, audience growth strategies, and content optimization. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Strategic mindset with strong editorial judgment and commercial awareness.
