Head of Medical Services

We are seeking an experienced professional for this opening. Position Overview: The Head of Medical Services will be responsible for: - Providing strategic leadership and clinical oversight for all medical and public health services in the organization. - Planning, coordinating and supervising the delivery of quality healthcare services in line with regulatory and ethical standards. - Developing and implementing health policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures to improve service delivery. - Monitoring and evaluating clinical performance, patient outcomes, and public health indicators using tools such as SPSS and Epi Info. - Leading disease surveillance, epidemiological analysis and health reporting for management decision-making. - Managing medical personnel, including recruitment input, training, performance management and discipline. - Preparing and presenting medical, statistical and management reports using MS PowerPoint and other reporting tools. - Ensuring full compliance with healthcare regulations, professional standards and accreditation requirements. - Coordinating continuous professional development, workshops and training for medical and allied staff. - Advising management on health risks, preventive healthcare strategies and public health interventions.
