About the Role

Our client is a leading, innovative financial institution dedicated to empowering SMEs and individuals in Lagos and beyond. We are seeking a dynamic and process-driven Head of Operations to lead our entire domestic and digital banking operations.

You will work closely with the operations team and other departments to optimise processes and manage branch activity, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and secure delivery of services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient operational policies and procedures for the branch
• Work closely with the IT Team regarding the core banking system, digital channels (USSD, Mobile Banking), and IT infrastructure
• Lead achievement of consistent service delivery and operational standards
• Drive process improvements to enhance customer experience
• Manage operational risk, fraud prevention, and business continuity planning
• Manage key vendor relationships and transaction processing/clearing operations

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• 8+ years of experience managing operations
• Proven experience with core banking systems and digital channel management
• Strong understanding of CBN operational guidelines and payment systems
• Customer-centric leadership approach with excellent problem-solving and project management skills
