Head of Finance

An established company is recruiting for the following position. Role Description - This full-time Head of Finance role is an on-site position based in Enugu. - The successful candidate will oversee Afia's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. - Responsibilities include developing and implementing financial strategies, managing internal controls, analyzing financial performance, and providing strategic recommendations to support decision-making. - The Head of Finance will be instrumental in optimizing financial processes and ensuring the organization’s financial health. Required Qualifications: - Proven expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance, and internal control systems. - Experience in strategic financial planning and advising executive decision-making. - Proficiency in financial software and tools, with strong analytical skills. - Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and collaborate with teams. - Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA or CFA is an advantage). - Previous experience in the media industry or a similar dynamic environment is desirable. - Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a fast-paced and innovative team setting.
