Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead our renewable energy projects from design to delivery. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with proven leadership, ensuring top-quality execution, innovation, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solar PV design, modeling, and installation from concept to completion
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with business development teams on project proposals
• Oversee resource planning, site supervision, and performance optimization
• Drive innovation through R&D and new energy solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field (Master's or PMP/NABCEP preferred)
• 8–10 years of renewable energy experience, including 5+ years in leadership
• Proven experience in solar PV design and EPC project delivery
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, or HOMER
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
• Knowledge of Nigeria's renewable energy regulations and market trends
