## Title: Head of Development and Commercial
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the company's development and commercial strategy
- Identify new market opportunities, growth areas, and strategic partnerships
- Lead long-term planning aligned with corporate objectives
- Provide executive-level advice on investment decisions and risk management
- Present development and commercial performance to the Board and investors
Development Management
Oversee the full project lifecycle, including:
- Site acquisition and origination
- Feasibility studies
- Planning and regulatory approvals
- Design development
- Procurement strategy
- Delivery oversight
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
- Manage development risk assessments and mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with technical, legal, finance, and operations teams
Commercial Strategy & Revenue Optimization
- Develop and implement pricing, leasing, sales, or commercialization strategies
- Lead contract negotiations with partners, tenants, suppliers, and stakeholders
- Structure joint ventures, development agreements, and funding arrangements
- Optimize revenue streams and ensure commercial viability of projects
- Monitor market trends and competitor positioning
Financial Oversight
- Lead financial modeling, investment appraisals, and ROI analysis
- Prepare and approve development budgets and cashflow forecasts
- Monitor project financial performance and margin targets
- Secure financing, manage lender relationships, and oversee funding structures
- Ensure compliance with financial governance standards
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
Build and maintain relationships with:
- Investors
- Government bodies
- Strategic partners
- Contractors and consultants
- Key clients
- Represent the company in high-level negotiations
- Lead community and regulatory engagement where applicable
